He (& others in this thread) keeps wriggling out of this key point, which is the fundamental issue.

I really don't get this die-hard loyalty towards a corporation...

It wouldn't surprise me if a few of them were sporting Sony tattoos.

Guess what guys, Sony (or Nintendo, or Microsoft) just want your money - they're not gonna buy you a drink on your birthday or attend your baby shower!

Open your eyes and recognise anti-consumer behaviour when you see it!

Insinuating that we're fan boys just because we don't agree with entitled gamers on this is a bit much. I just disagree with their complaints. Sony's policy on this is a normal policy for all 3 on most multiplatform games.

Some gamers don't want to settle for normal. Some PS4 players want more than normal like being able to play their EG account on other console hardware. XBox1 and Switch allow it, why not PS4?

Expecting or assuming that sony had a different policy from normal on fortnite is nonsensical.

Pro-consumer Sony is long dead. People should start realizing this now and be wary that PSN can stealthily screw your third party accounts if you're not careful.

Mass whining about shooting yourself in the foot and expecting a company to make it better is nonsensical.

Well the customer is any company's bread and butter. Displeasing the customer is never a good idea.
