I'm not too sure about this. EG themselves have said their customer service can do nothing about this.
In addition, I tried to unlink my Switch from my EG account on EG's website and among the warnings given, one read "Unlinking this service will NOT unlock restricted platforms" so I think it's safe to assume unlinking an EG account from PSN will still not allow an EG account access to X1 or Switch...
