They really seemed like they want Xbox to continue as a strong brand. Overall, I'd say they're the winner by default. Sony meanwhile didn't have any major new first-party titles, though they did have some very impressive extended gameplay videos for upcoming titles like The Last of Us Part 2 and Ghost of Tsushima. I think they're starting to wind down a bit in preparation for the PS5, and what we've seen is the last big blitz of major titles from SIE this generation. If that is the case, though, they are going to end the generation with a hell of a bang. Nintendo... had Smash. They played it way too safe and held back too much, which makes the rest of the year seem quite empty, especially after a strong 2017. They need to knock it out of the park next year, and do more to keep excitement for the system high. And as usual, most of the third parties were nothing to write home about. Bethesda probably had the best conference out of all of them. |
Actually switch line up is pretty stacked the remainder of the year. Unless you're referring to first party stuff,then yeah that's where I'll agree
