How stupid is it that MS doesnt allow cross platform play with Steam on PC with games such as Ark?

There doesn't seem to be a Microsoft policy which doesn't allow cross play with Steam but people still use the butthurt argument against MS and their fans?

I would recommend some Smarties if they wouldn't be from Nestle.
