Everything someone says is generally opinion, me saying there wasn't much to miss is my interpretation of the event. I didn't say it sucked either, not being impressed and/or being slightly disappointed isn't the same as saying something sucks.
Also, my criticism is mainly grounded in the latter part of what I said: "There are so many projects from teams that haven't released anything yet on Switch that it just seems odd for them to not even have a partway made concept to share with people."
Either Nintendo has more and they didn't show it intentionally because they thought all Nintendo/Switch fans would just want to see Smash this time, or they don't have more to show and are just padding for time. Neither builds very much confidence outside of the group that loves and is satisfied with Smash enough to have it carry a presentation for them. They very well could have more under wraps, but until they show it then this specific event just seems a bit bare-bones to me.
