That's who keeps the site functioning. Then we have other staff (myself and The Mod Team), the Writer Team, and the GameDB Team. All of those offer some type of additional function to keep things going.

Now, regarding those admins.....  if one leaves, is it not possible to replace them?  If not, why not?  Is it that nobody wants to do it, or that ioi won't allow anyone else, or what?  Do those guys have specific areas of expertise, or interest (or any other factor) that make them not-interchangeable? 

I hope I'm not prying too much.  I just realized while reading this thread that I've been active here for 2 years (and I lurked for about 2 years before that), and I have no idea who really makes this clock tick.  

Talon and Trucks have extensive web development skills and they were volunteering out of their free time. So basically, you'd have to find someone that a) ioi will trust enough to give the backdoor key for the website b) has experience in web development and c) can do it for free, all the while sustaining abuse from the community.

Therein lies the problem with replacing the admins
