Your console is 3 years old and you are complaining about paying for it to be fixed? Gosh... Sorry I can't sympathize with you one bit, in fact I'm almost laughing at the situation. You can buy extended warranties from the store at purchase, if you don't, that's on you. The service fee is justified, Sony isn't a charity.
