If we go by @OTBWY's criteria of only judging what was presented, the show was still a disappointment and a 7 is being too nice. From what I've heard, Sony's pacing was bad, but it was also just as odd with Nintendo. Rapid firing off trailers for the first 40% of the conference and then smashing into a brick wall the moment we get to Kyoto made no sense and was completely jarring.
I've settled on a 5. Incredibly middle-of-the-road, but not the worst thing ever. There's definitely been worse... *shutters*
2018 as a whole though? Pretty decent. E3 doesn't destroy the whole year as it's kind of just a fairly sized blip on Nintendo's radar anymore.
