Well, the smaller opening in EU may be signs of the game having some good legs. This is the first good PS3 exclusive to be released, so I would think lots of people would want to buy it.
The reintroduction of the 80 GB PS3 will help MGS4 and PS3 sales stabilize in the Americas, as for some reason, we love b/c systems.
Japan is very front-loaded, but MGS4 could pull 900k to 1 million lifetime over the course of the next few months.
MGS4 is doing just fine for now. 5 million lifetime is most probable.
