No Fire Emblem n Yoshi this year and Smash releasing at the last moment certainly wont help sales. They'll still be good, but I'm not so sure about 20m good anymore.

Well, Smash and Pokemon are December and November respectively so the biggest sales months have the biggest games.  And the 20mil was for the fiscal year ending 2019.  So they have until end of March 2019.  Also makes me wonder if Fire Emblem takes Kirby's slot and adds a boost.

Yoshi...I mean it looks great but that was never gonna do much.  We'll see when that launches.  Honestly, assuming it's good, Mario Party is a bigger potential seller than Yoshi.

I am willing to have some patience.  I thought this was fine, just nothing special.  I'll be interested to see Nintendo's Directs following this.  We know they have a 2019 focused one already planned.  Will be interesting to see if they pull another fall direct like last year that tosses in some good 3rd party ports and dates for the fall.

Yoshi is not a big player, so that really won't matter. FE speaks to a pretty good niche market but honestly, not enough to where it will affect sales incredibly.

Anyway, I'm not sure if even Nintendo was positive about 20 million either. As far as I know, that was only stated by Kimishima(?) in an interview, never an actual projection. If you know that Nintendo actually set that as their goal then please show me something official because I've never actually known for sure.

Yeah who am I kidding, while the games aren't in the forms I was hoping for, they're still Smash n Pokemon. That's a killer 1-2 punch for the holidays. Also yes 20m was official, but I can't be bothered to get a source right now, please understand.
