Yep so obvious based on all the new content and features we've never had in a Smash game before.

-Graphically it looks different to the Wii u game. 
-new characters
-new mechanics
-new stages
-new items
-new assist trophies/pokeballs
-new character designs
-altered move sets
-most final smashes have been changed drastically.
-content from past games that wasn't in the Wii u game.

This is just what we know so far, likely there will be more characters, more stages and new modes, new music, new achievements, new challenges. The game is still a long way off, they likely have a lot to still reveal.
