Saying the Switch wont sell to non-fans implys it wont sell well. The problem is what you think will make them better (chasing 3rd party support) will actually make them worse, see Wii U. Nintendo's 1st party has always been the driving force behind all their systems. Realizing that and doubling down on it with the Switch is what's made them better. Playstation/Xbox/PC are already the well established 3rd party multiplat machines. With Microsoft struggling 2/3rds of the time, there's definitely not room for yet another.
