That's referencing the 1060 (I assume the 6GB), which is just the GPU. PCs aren't judged, in teraflops, based solely on that. In fact, so much emphasis has been put on floating point performance without actually grasping what it entails. I get it - it's an exciting talking point for console gamers (and even some gaming PC users) just getting in the know, but they aren't the end all, be all of computing power. Think of me as an example—how often do I brag about teraflops in any of my rigs? It's just not a simple matter of "ha, I have more TF than the next person". Then there is also a matter of fine print, as they wrote *The survey is opt-in, however, so it's not a 100-percent accurate picture Steam's demographics. |
I know what you are saying and PC users don't use the term Teraflops.. heck I don't even know what my PC is, I think its 9TF but it is not for me to care about. I am using it as an example just to measure the PC user base, if a next gen game can run on a GTX1060 than it will run on the X.
(It shows in the graph 2gig VRAM.. which seems wrong because I thought they were only 3gig to 6gig cards)
