For a lot of people Nintendo won last year but idk.. they have the policy of only showing games that are coming in 1-2 year max while literally every game from the conferences this year is 2019 and beyond. So if they go the underdog way as usuall, we will have lots of coverage for the upcoming games this year, couple of announcements and maybe a trailer for MP4. But if they want to, they clearly could go all out and show Bayo 3, MP4, Starfox and even could tease a new Big game beyond those titles. They seem to be way to predictable this year because they have so much to show, but all i want is to be excited and surprised. But it's not with games coming in the next months that Nintendo can fight against bethesda announcing almost all the games coming for the next 6 years lol. | Yeah...I think limiting themselves to 2018 is kinda worrisome, particularly since people watch these shows to be surprised and most buying a console want long term support. On the other hand, revealing their entire roadmap now, which means games will be unveiled but may not get gameplay details because the actual game is not ready to be shown, will just lead to lack of surprises later on, and also constant frustration as to why a certain game is not being shown (just look at how much the Metroid Prime 4 announcement, and one that is unlikely to result in an actual gameplay reveal or potential mention this year, is already resulting in anxiety and disappointment). The Switch is still at a very critical point in its adoption, I just hope Nintendo does not blow it with this show or their lineup.

Why is focusing on 2018 worrisome? Do you think it somehow means no long term support, that they wont have anything for 2019, even though Prime 4, Bayo 3, and real Pokemon are already known? That's why the 2018 focus is fine, because they already have games to look forward to in the future, though I bet they'll announce atleast 1 more. Meanwhile we've got Smash n Fire Emblem releasing this year that we know nothing about.
