It doesn't matter, like it or not, it's not contributing to society.
You're now arguing digital goods, which is something you're never going to win against, because you're be spitting in the face of every other industry out there that deals with digital goods, and yes, you will lose that argument single handedly.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
