850k physical in 6-7 months for a port while they also made a remaster of the same game months before is really good. Skyrim is still in the top 30/25 in the global weekly. Doom barely sold 1 million physical on Xbox idk what y'all were expecting for a late port on a smaller install base, the game probably is around 400k now with digital and it's pretty good tbh. Sure exclusives are selling more but still third party really helps having a fuller library of games and more variety.

Fifa 18 and Skyrim coming for 1 million in a couple of weeks/months is stellar for the Switch. No wonder why it is getting W2, Fifa 19, NBA2k19, Fortnite, paladins etc. Won't get ES6 and GTA6 but tbh that's still huge for a portable device and the games are actually worth porting cause they sell well. This is a nice step in the right direction for Nintendo as they might think more of third party games for the next system since they are now seeing that it is selling on Switch.

Technology in the future will be even more remarkable and i would not be surprise if we can have a Switch 2 really close to what the PS5 will be doing (if it comes out like 3 years after tho..)

The Switch is getting great support for what it is. Basically everything that can come to it is coming, so that's a good thing. But it's not fit to replace a core home console like liquid laser said. Surely you know how full of shit he is.

Fair play to FIFA 18 and Skyrim, and why not keep porting sports titles? But they will continue to underperform compared to the competition. This time next year when Switch is close to Xbox One numbers, it still won't sell more copies of FIFA or 2K. Not even close.

The Switch will find success outside of Nintendo titles to some degree, but we all know the top sellers by far on the system are going to be all exclusive. Nintendo fans are crazy loyal to Nintendo games and even they know there are better alternatives for playing third party AAA's than Switch.

Well of course, i was just referring to you saying the games didn't sell on Switch. Of course FIFA won't sell 10 millions on Switch but crossing the million for FIFA18 when it was half assed is amazing. They are saying FIFA 19 will be a lot better than 18 on the Switch, which points out they actually see there is a market there.

Switch isn't made for third party, but it's getting enough support for people to only buy 1 support now for more casual gamers that likes Nintendo exclusives but are interested in Wolfenstein, Fifa, Fortnite etc. Also we will start seeing some third party exclusives now that the Switch is doing so well. I know Switch third party support from AAA games won't be bigger or much better than what it is right now with some games being ported like W2, Doom and Skyrim, but we will for sure see more AA exclusives and port to it.
