Do you even know what Ikaruga is?
1) Bullet hell shooters are VERY NICHE.
2) Very old - albeit highly acclaimed one game. Not a remaster. Simple straight port. Do you expect Crash Trilogy (not remastered the old PS1 games) to have sold nearly as well as the new game?
As for RE compilation, of course it would sell better, it's a well established franchise, in a market that has proven many times that does buy such games. What's your point?
And as it has been said, you cannot claim Nintendo fans are worse when it comes to port begging, or nagging when all users groups do it all the same. Case is, Xbox and PS users rarely have to put up with it.
