1. No. No it is not.  If you adjust for inflation, it is #5.  And you can't ignore the fact that not only did it greatly underperform against its expectations, but it also got beat by 3 other SW films that didn't have the added bonus of the greatly expanded FBO that we have today.  It also caused a steep dip in merch sales.

2.  Tell that to POTC:AWE that not only had competition as strong, some weeks stronger, but still ended up making $963.42M WW, unadjusted.  Though, if you mean poor timing, as in releasing after a major fan backlash and not before it, then I'd probably agree with you.

1. Disney cares about the money it makes now, not how much it could have made.

2. The back lash to Solo happened before the movie came out in the misguided boycott. Most SW fans on reddit agree Solo is a good Star Wars movie. Moving on.

1. Oh.  So they must be VERY happy with how Solo is performing then.  Gotcha.  Lol, we both know that is not how a business works.  If Disney, like any company, expected to make ~$1.8B, but made $470M less plus a big drop in merch sales, they are not happy.  And we have lower merch sales and a flop happening, now. Don't be so obtuse just to defend these films.

2. Got a poll of every SW fan to prove that?  Cause what I'm mostly getting is it was a mediocre film, with a few saying it was good.  Of course, with the extra BS surrounding it, I'm not surprised it flopped.
