Yes its a good action movie on its own but for a lot it is a letdown because more is expected from the star wars universe,it is easier seen as a moneygrab without respect for the lore.

If you thought Solo didn't respect the lore, I'm afraid only the original trilogy will do. Solo probably did the most coherent world-building of ANY Star Wars film.
