Bungie has released screens since the beta (you can find them on Bungie.net) and they look better than the beta. There appear to be bloom effects and better textures in those screens.

I wonder if Bungie was sandbagging the beta graphics to make sure it ran well and to keep the download size reasonable.

That makes sense all to make more hype on halo 3.
