Nope, Russell was a far better defender then Jordan plus he was undersized for his position since he only was 6'9". Plus Russell shut down Chamberlain numerous times despite the fact that Chamberlain was a far superior overall when it comes to overall talent. The only thing Chamberlain wasn't good at was shooting free throws. Plus Chamberlains numbers would have been even more ridiculous if he didn't get slowed down by numerous injuries during the later half of his career.
