I don't think SJW pandering can ruin a film per se... but it certainly makes it less enjoyable. It was difficult to enjoy Black Panther with my eyes rolling so much. It took me out of the story and the movie itself was pretty dumb.

If he ends up watching a pirated version, fair enough, but considering how much he railed on people pirating video games it'd be pretty ironic.
