YES buy it, it rules. Only played through maybe 40% of the first Xenoblade, but I'm very close to beating Xenoblade 2 with roughly 60 hours logged, and I actually prefer most elements of the sequel, aside from maybe the story, which I usually don't place a ton of value in anyway. The battle system is very satisfying, complex, and greatly improved from the first. Still has a few weird quirks and occasional cumbersome moments but overall everything's more streamlined and tightened up compared to the first game. Also looks far prettier.
