I honestly think with the screwed up production issues solo had, Disney ended up shoving it in somewhere in their schedule where it didn’t really belong and just hoped for the best. I would think they (Disney) have even given MARY POPPINS RETURNS a higher priority than SOLO, seeing as they’ve given it the Christmas holiday release window and didn’t want to mess with that otherwise they would’ve shoved solo in there which would’ve made more sense...I would say Disney are thinking mpop will be a big family box office drawcard during the holiday season.
