Yes I do and over here it's called Social Security.

I never see doctors cause I don't want to, I'd have to be in horrible pain to force myself to see one.

But if I had to see one or stay in a hospital I'd choose social security a thousand times over private insurance for the following reasons.

Health is a fundamental right, not a commercial product so not paying for healthcare when you need it seems logical to me and common sense.

I don't like (or trust) private insurances because their business is in fundamental contradiction with their customers' interests. Insurances are there to make money and that's all so actually paying for your health issues is (I bet most people don't know this) a failure from their perspective as paying for your health means they are losing money. So they will do anything and everything to not pay, look for the fine print in your contract and hold it against you and they have an army of lawyers that will make sure there is something in fine print that you will miss or misunderstand so that they don't have to pay when the time comes. I wouldn't trust an insurance for standard stuff so I'm certainly not going to trust it with my health.

So I end up saving a lot of money with all the types of insurance I don't have.
