Solo Headed To Become A Flop? Yep, It Flopped.

Just got back from seeing it.

And I thought it was a lot better than I was expecting. A decent popcorn movie, in fact, I was done with my popcorn halfway through. Having read through this thread beforehand (thank you guys very much for keeping spoilers to yourselves, I mean that), I do have to say that comments about Lando being "pansexual" is reaching. I didn't think he was anymore flamboyant than he was in Empire, nor was out of character. The droid was maybe a bit SJW but not too much. I'd say these things are grossly exaggerated and were definitely not as blatant as the PETA worshipping and such in The Last Jedi. I liked Emilia Clarke's character and how Han and Lando's actors fit their roles, especially Donald Glover, great job. I was kind of disappointed in Han's first meeting with Chewbacca and why he feels like he owes Han a life-debt and stays with him for the rest of life though, and the final cameo, while cool to see, was definitely wtf.

Anyway, it's not brilliant and Rogue One will stay my favorite of the Disney Star Warzes for now, but with this these anthology films are probably better than the main episodes. I'm glad I wasn't disappointed.
