You don't need the AC adapter, just a USB-C cable, I already have several around the house. 

you wont get optimal charge with samsung s8 charger, it will take a long time to charge  and wont charge while in use. actually the price savings is 45$ cheaper in japan, i would much rather the original charger, joy con grip, hdmi and  dock, for 45$, but if you're that cheap ok ...
