No they don't. I have a Switch and I never take the AC adapter anywhere. The very few times I have needed to recharge on the go (like on the bus or on the subway where there are no available power outlets) I have had to use a portable battery bank which I also use for my tablet and smartphone as I also do not carry around the charger for them. It is the same case with my Vita and 3DS, the AC unit for all of these portables is at my house.
Also how is anyone being "suckered".
1. The store says that is is a second unit system. Which quite literally means it is for people that already have a unit and are looking for another.
2. The page mentions all of the components that are missing and what it comes with.
3. It even has a side by side pricing comparison.

the page mentions this, will stores as well? ok you dont have to take your charger every where, but imagine how annoying it would be if you can't charge your switch because the other person is charging, this can be very annoying, and will eventually lead to another charger being bought. what if the other person leaves for a few days vacation or friend house. if you have 2 portable device 2 chargers are a must.

Just like the 3DS XL, it's in RED on the front of the box (adapter not included)
Switch uses USB-C anyway, most late-model android device users will have already have access to a charger by default.
