Precicely. Capcom has mistreated Nintendo to such a degree this generation, they will get burned eventually. They need Nintendo in order to survive, and most fans are getting (understandably) pretty angry / upset.

Monster Hunter World proved that they don't need Nintendo. Both re7 and Monster Hunter have sold extremely well on ps4, the latter at a higher price point then the old games + a GAAS model to insure future content. 

RE7 sold much less than RE6 and as a franchise, is on decline. MH was a huge surprise, but games like SFV and Marvel vs Capcom surely evened out the profits. Basically, every Capcom game on PC / PS4 / Xbox seems like a huge gamble, either a huge success or a monumental failure.
