Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee are simply late gen 7 remakes everyone expected would be Diamond/Pearl - and that's a good thing

I don't see this game or any game being a test.

Or the formula is going to advance, and we're truly going to get a big Pokemon rpg. Or it's going to get small tweaks here and there.
