MLB 08 The Show is much more than 07 with better graphics. The RTTS mode is incredibly deep and much more realistic than any other Baseball game on the market, it is not just make a character, sim a season and somehow smack 150+ HR a season, it can take anywhere from 2-3 up to 10+ years to make it to the bigs depending on how you perform, which just like real life, is no easy task.  You go ahead and play that, then play MLB 2k8 and let me know which performs more like an actual Baseball game.

Ask any Baseball fan around and they will tell you that up until the release of 08 The Show, MVP 2005 was the best on the market.

Indeed it should be counted as exclusive. You can't play the best Baseball Sim anywhere but the PS3. Go read on the message boards for that game as well, you will see plenty of people who purchased PS3's for that game alone. It is one of the reasons I chose the PS3 first.
