What do you mean what happened? There's a lot of stuff pointing to this being real now, including the very post you quoted. Masuda teased Sun & Moon with a similarly cryptic tweet before the game's official reveal, no doubt he's doing the same thing again. It's not 100% true yet, but it's pretty much all but confirmed at this point. Dunno anything about reset era, you'll have to take it up with them.

Probably because we also expected 2019 to be the release date, atleast I did.
