Seriously, they should be making cool stuff like Eternal Darkness 2, a long-awaited sequel to Donkey Kong 64, a Metroid/Bayonetta cross over or something entirely new. Not racing games! Sure, some of my worries may stem from my general dislike for racing games (Mario Kart excluded) but c'mon!
And why make a Star Fox racing game when there's F-Zero? Just use F-Zero, dang it. Star Fox doesn't need a racing game, it needs a new main entry that doesn't suck. Fix that first, then you can talk about potential spin-offs (I know, this project, assuming it exists, may have been greenlit before Star Fox Zero was released. But still...).
