Wii U's 2nd Christmas was end of first and beginning of Wii Us second year on market. Wii U had launch at end of November 2012. but at end of 2013. most 3rd party left platform, you can easily see that buy comparing how much 3rd party games were released on Wii U from launch until end of 2013. and after 2013.

I was just pointing out that Ubisoft, Activision, and even Warner Bros put in the effort with their major franchises for 2 holidays.  EA didn't bother to do a follow up on Fifa or Madden.  Which was a real shame.  The Madden game had an incredible feature of being able to draw your own hot routes for your Receivers at the line of scrimmage.  Unfortunately, the knock against Madden 13 was that EA used the Madden 12 engine for the Wii U port.  Meanwhile, the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions both got the new engine.  The funny part is, I haven't bought a Madden since.  I still play Madden 13 to this day on Wii U rather than buy the lastest edition for my Xbox One.  I would have bought Madden 14, Madden 25, etc. if they continued to release on Wii U.  But, EA's effort, unlike other major publishers, was a "one and done"; and they lost me as a customer on all platforms as a result.

By the way, there isn't even a Madden on Nintendo Switch yet.  And the Switch has been on the market for over a year.  Madden 19 has already been announced for PS4 and Xbox One.  No Switch announcement.  The Switch's most successful market is NA, and yet EA doesn't bother to release it's NFL game there?  Madden 18 sales are slumping by 1.5 million compared to Madden 17 (and that's without counting Madden 17 sales on Xbox360/PS3).  And yet, EA doesn't port it to Switch, or announce that the next annual release is coming.  All I can say is, good job EA.  Keep costing yourself sales.

"2 Holidays" dont change nothing when Wii U was released during one holiday and second was at end of first year or begining of second year, I said most 3rd partys abandoned Wii U in its 1st year but accurate would be in its 1st 13-14 months on market. :)

For now EA release/announced only Fifa 18 from their hevi hitters, I expecting they will start announcing some other big IPs also.
