Not that important to you perhaps, but for someone like me, it helped destroy immersion and general focus.
I don't really praise the marvel of getting things to run on as less power possible. I'm more of the "what can we do with more power" than less.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
