There were still major 3rd parties around for Wii U's 2nd Christmas.  EA jumped ship way before everyone else.

Wii U's 2nd Christmas was end of first and beginning of Wii Us second year on market. Wii U had launch at end of November 2012. but at end of 2013. most 3rd party left platform, you can easily see that buy comparing how much 3rd party games were released on Wii U from launch until end of 2013. and after 2013.
