Crossed out all of the unimportant stuff that made zero impact. If you're going to make a list to justify a gaming golden age, don't populate it with B-list games.

What are ya talking about, The house Marque trio had majour impact, Nex machina among them praised as the most polished bullet hell game of all time by many. Dirt rally revolutionized Sim racing rallies games again after so many years of stale arcade games and crappy licenced titles not to mention makes the best VR racer. Shadow warrior brought back the fast paced, doom like FPS and brought it to console gaming before doom rebooted and could well have been a waypoint for dooms dev to use to test the market reception. Moss's innovation in VR art work is astounding and praised as one of the must have VR titles. Project CARS marked the end of a track sim racing monopolies on consoles by Forza and GT and brought other PC racer studios to enter the console market, not to mention it was crowd funded in such a unique way. Maybe you need to take a better look into the games on that list or broaden your horizon in gaming. The only one there that is questionable is darkest dungeon but I think It deserves a spot for not giving into casuals and getting everything right the funders asked for and yet, still making an accessible, fair and balanced game in the genre but being hard as balls at the same time, you may not realize but the game garnered excellent praise and awards.

And the public at large either didn't notice or didn't care.
