Literally everything except box office grosses (adjusted for inflation) is better

If you transported someone from the 50s, 60s, etc to the modern cinema experience, their mind would be completely blown by how amazing it is.

Maybe special effects. Scripts are worse, pacing is worse, pretty much everything except explosions are worse today. The original jurassic park is still 10 times better than Jurassic world.

You're generalizing. Are there shit movies? Ya, there's plenty. Way more than back in the day even, but that is simply because the market has gotten far more crowded, which I said earlier. That doesn't mean there aren't plenty of really great productions, and the best of the best today is a million times higher quality than the best of the best from a few decades ago. The same will be true of these things decades down the road. They'll be far superior to what we have today.

That doesn't diminish the things we love from back in the day, but these mediums just evolve. From visual and sound effects, to filming/developing techniques, immersion, picture clarity, production values, all the nuances in the performances that come through now better than they ever could in the past, etc.
