I work for a government facility and quotes like this are just factually wrong! White men may feel intimidated because jobs that they solely use to get are now being filled by equally qualified minorities, but unless you were in the hiring room and can point out and prove that this is happening in droves its baseless banter. Im a minority and have never gotten any job over a white male because they needed to fill some quota.

Maybe you have been hired based on your skin colour before and you just don’t know it. Companies are pushing for diversity and that means hiring minorities, sometimes, without requiring them having as much skills or qualifications as a white person. We know, for example, that blacks and hispanics don’t need as good grades as white people to get into medical school.

What I'm saying is simple though, unless you know for certain of instances where this has occurred then its baseless! Not just spreading he said she said, people have to prove that they have been passed over by someone less qualified than them. How would they even know that information in the first place? Its pretty insulting that people actually believe that blacks and Hispanics don't need as good of grades as whites to get into medical school.

What has this country come to?

A white guy at work told me today that he believes those young black men purposely went into Starbucks and didn't want to buy anything to cause a scene. Everything is not a conspiracy situation, sometimes bad things happen to specific groups of people because of the color of their skin, their religion or ethnicity. If a feels offended by this stuff getting publicized then just put yourself in their shoes and imagine being them for just a few short minutes.

We now have crazy Kanye telling people that slavery was a choice and guess what it wouldn't surprise me if people start pushing this narrative. People would rather believe the biggest lie than the smallest truth, because sometimes getting right with the truth means acknowledging painful situations.

I've said this many times before and believe it now more than ever, we have no business as a country telling other countries how they should live and treat  their people when ours is so divided!
