The ban waves are working and putting cheaters under control. In one single ban wave they purged over 1 million cheaters out of PUBG. You talk as if they are doing nothing about the issue.

And the ban is not a simple game key ban where you can just buy another game key: It's a GPU ban, you won't be able to play PUBG again with unless you buy another GPU. Blizzard is also doing this with OW cheaters.

I've barley played the game, I just know from mates they've given up it because of cheaters. Perhaps the bans have worked, I have no interest in the game I was just using it as an example of one that's pretty striking.

According PUBG corp. an average of 6000 players are banned every day. The cheater situation was very bad in the beginning until december 2017, but since january they put new auto-ban algos in the works that are more effective that the past ones, putting the situation under control.
