Well it would be pretty boring forum (and indeed a boring world) if the most common response to disagreement is "cool, that's your opinion", so I don't really see a problem with more extensively discussing the merits of said opinions.

True, but at the same time, people usually take any negative talk against their favorite game as a personal attack against themselves.
