Usually, console developers will just give the players aim assist and they don't have to do anymore than aim in the general direction of the targets along with having some good game sense but if you play a truly competitive FPS on PC then there's very little room for mistakes that you can afford such as not clearing the corners or aiming head height cause aiming with a mouse is just that much damn superior ...
