Personally, I think it has a pretty good shot at beating TFA's domestic opening. Beating FOTF is going to be a tall order. Of course, FOTF had the advantage of launching in China in its opening weekend. Not sure why Disney insists on spacing out their China releases.

Yea, it'll be interesting to see how it fares Sat and Sun.  I mean its Fri take was ~39% above BP's take.  For it to make $139M for the rest of the weekend seems kind of low, since that would be just ~10% above BP's Sat and Sun take.  If it does ~25% higher, which is the average of those two figures, it would make ~$263.5M for the weekend.

Personally, I am cheering it does. Star Wars 7 wasn't enjoyable to me but I loved Infinity War.

Agreed.  TFA was an alright film.  But IW was a really good movie.  Definitely deserves the title.
