As for the story/writing stuff.... I don't have a very strong opinion. I will say though that I think the mini cut scenes that happen every 2 minutes (which remind me of Uncharted 4) really take away from the experience. Every time I start getting into the game, the control is taken away and I feel like I'm in an interactive movie. I don't like it at all.

I hope to finish the game before forming a strong opinion of it. But, frankly, I don't know that I'm going to finish the game. It just hasn't pulled me in. I'm going to give it another good shot over the next couple of evenings, in hopes that it will finally get me. So far though, I'm in general agreement.  The game is not a masterpiece in my book.

That's an odd thing to say. I can play the game for hours and hours and never get a cutscene. Are you just talking about the tutorial area?

No.  But, I probably shouldn't have called them cutscenes.  They're just the little events that take place every few minutes in the game where story plays out, while you watch, not controlling anything.  I feel like this is about 10% of the game.
