God of War is probably the best game of this generation so far

Put 45 hours into it so far. Gonna keep going for the platinum.

That said, I don't think it is stand out the best title of the gen so far. It is very good. Easily in the top three new games I have played this gen. One really nice thing about it, is I have played this entire time, including watching some PS Vue, MLB.TV, and Youtube (via the Browser), and the game has not crashed out once. That is an extreamly commendable achievement, as I can't remember a game that accomplished this on PS4/XBO/NSW.

Right now, Horizon: Zero Dawn is still my favorite game of the generation. Number 2 is a toss up between God of War and Mario Odyessy. Followed by Sunset Overdrive and then Uncharted 4.

I will say this for GOW. Just like Horizon, it takes a genere that for me has always had short comings, and finally delivers a solid product in every aspect. The Gameplay, Graphics, Sound, Story, and UI are all top notch, and should be an example for future Hack n' Slash and WRPG titles.

Looking forward, they have put GOW in an awesome position. I can see the next game taking it up another level, and that would put them in their own exclusive territory. This game falls just short, of my "Greatest of All Time", but it has definitly layed the fondation for what could end up as my "Greatest Trilogy of All Time".
