Heres the issue I have.

If companies are going to claim that digital distribution is strictly a way of saving money...then those cost effective methods should by all means translate in customer discounts. Plain and simple.

I urge gamers and consumers alike to fight any of the big 3 that threatens to release a digital exclusive console...because the notion is plausible and possible.

I for one...do not trust non-physical copies of any medium let alone 65 dollar games and content.

If anyone is going to lose/break/destroy my personal belongings...it's going to be me. If I want to rip a disc from my PS and smash it into a thousand pieces because the boss fight on level 4 is making muscles in my face twitch then I will. That option should not be granted to digital storage.

I only buy when games are on sale, I'd never pay 60 bucks for a game whether physical or digital. The business that is going to rip me off hasn't been invented yet, so I totally agree with you on this.

I'm the same way. I've been that way my whole life. Very few exceptions but too little of significance.

The irony is it's customers like us that force companies to play hard ball and it the incentives favor digital distribution.

But the customers satisfaction is what matters by the end of the day...at least I like to believe.
