Honestly guys - you may not know me personally, but I'm fairly sure from a technical standpoint you both would agree I am always open to suggestions and 100% willing to help any way I can around here. So I would appreciate it if you guys would not try to peg me as somebody that's unreasonable as that's more than a little insulting.
Yes - you guys (and less than half of the other users that voted in the other thread), happen to dislike the feature. But, there is the other half that does like having the feature (whether they've been as vocal as you guys have been, is not at issue here) - and then there are another 10 people who really don't seem to care one way or the other... ...so my only point is that there are less people that are against this. So now, I'd like to see if there is a way to bridge the gap just a little and see if there's a way to bring some of you away from being so downright against this. If you're against this feature (but are more inclined to at least accept it) if the list of users were displayed, then I'd be happy to add that functionality - and that's the purpose of this thread. Trying to make EVERYONE happy - that is always my goal!!! So, can we at least try here???? |
Ok. I will post in that thread for further discussion on the matter if needed, sure. I am honestly fairly surprised you are keeping up with the thread, especially since it was a user created thread and not an official one, which is partially why I wrote that comment in here. Good job!
Just to clear things up, I certainly was not making a point about you or your work ethic when I asked if a feature would be kept because work was put into it. I was genuinely asking 
. As my post in the mod thread indicated, I have been more than surprised at how much work you guys put into improving the site, and that goes for taking feedback too.
You might be surprised to learn also that I am not necessarily against the feature. I just posted that comment because it seems to me like the people who dislike it genuinely hate it, whereas the people who like it don't seem over the moon either. I just thought that that specific part of your comment was a bit premature so I decided to ask the question. Nothing personal about it.
