As for Smash Switch not selling 10m on Switch.

2. Any game that has enough built up hype that it goes to #1 on Amazon the DAY AFTER the reveal with literally no gameplay/release date info shown other than 2018 is going to be massive!

3. Did you not see the reaction Videos to the reveal? Youtubers and others were literally screaming and crying!

I honestly don't see how can think that from that data provided. on DS mainline animal crossing vs a port of mario 64, and they nearly sold the same, but animal crossing beats a old mario 64 port that already sold nearly 12 million on a user base of 33 million. then mario galaxy and 3d world beat mainline animal crossing as well, is there something i'm missing?

Yes. The key point here is that New Leaf is still selling. It will likely surpass all 3D Marios bar 1. AC titles have legendary legs. New Leaf and WW beat out MOST 3D Mario titles, so yes you are missing something.
