I have a feeling that the re-introduction of the 80gig (and thus BC), also helped sales a bit. Not saying that MGS4 pushed a few systems, but I have a feeling a good few systems were pushed because of the 80gig. And not only was the 80gig re-introduced, but it's also the first bundle America has seen in a while. So it's sort of like a triple boost. MGS4, bundle, and the 80gig re-introduction.
It'll be interesting to see how sales hold up next week.
@DMeisterJ: I agree with you. The PS3 really did great this week, and MGS4 will have a great week as well. Sony and Konami should be quite happy with the results.
