Dark Souls: Remastered will no longer release for Switch on May 25, Bandai Namco has announced. It will now arrive sometime this summer.

Along with the game, the Solaire of Astora amiibo has also been pushed back to the summer as well.

Bandai Namco and FromSoftware both shared the news via Twitter:

The Nintendo Switch version of #DarkSoulsRemastered will be pushed back to Summer 2018, as well as the Solaire of Astora amiibo. We apologise for the delay but rest assured, the extra time will improve your journey to Lordran.

PC/PS4/X1 versions is still coming 25th May 2018.

Today’s delay affects all regions worldwide. Bandai Namco did not specify why the extra time is needed
